Trying to know more about bankruptcy:

I would like to know if I declared in bankruptcy and I signed some applications to sponsor my wife. Her process started one month ago . Would I affect that process if I declared in bankruptcy?

A licensed trustee said...

I think you should contact Immigration Services BEFORE you file for bankruptcy. My understanding is that an undischarged bankrupt cannot sponsor some one into Canada.
