house and bankruptcy

Me and my husband separated a few months ago but the arrangements were that I get to keep the house for myself and the kids…but keep it in joint ownership due to income reasons….
Question is – if he goes bankrupt will the house be affected?? Will I loose my house?

The house can potentially be affected if your husband goes bankrupt, but whether or not it will largely depends on what the value of the house is, the amount of the mortgage and who’s names are listed on the title of the property.
