Bankruptcy and foreclosure.

If I file for bankruptcy and the bank won`t let me keep the house, how long do we have to find a place and move out?

Thanks for your help

This depends on how motivated the bank is. I have seen it take as little as 30 days, but I have also seen it take 4 or 5 months. So realistically it is up to the bank.

The best advice is start looking for somewhere else to live immediately and don’t wait for the bank to move. If you do you will likely find yourself scrambling at the last moment.
