US loans will not be cleared as a result of filing a Canadian Bankruptcy, but as long as you stay in Canada the US creditors you have will not have the right to collect from you during or after a bankruptcy. The reason for this is that Canadian Legislation has no ability to release international debt, it can simply protect you from it while you are in Canada.
