If i declare bankruptcy, will i still be eligible for future tax returns? Will i be able to keep the returns as well, or will it be considered as surplus income?

As a result of a bankruptcy you loose any tax refunds for the year of bankruptcy and previous. However, in the years following a bankruptcy your taxes would go back to normal and if there are any refunds you would receive them.
