i have declared bankruptcy twice before is there a limit to how many times a person can declare bankruptcy

There is no limit on the number of times a bankruptcy can be declared, but each successive bankruptcy becomes more difficult. If you make it to a third bankruptcy it is very difficult to predict what is going to happen, except to say you will likely be kept in bankruptcy for at least a couple of years, and potentially longer. As a result you may want to consider filing a consumer proposal as then you will be able to minimize some of the downsides of multiple bankruptcies.
