Credit Card Use Prior to
My husband & I recently spoke with a trustee and have an appointment next week to file for bankruptcy. Do I have to stop using my credit cards immediately or can I use them up until we sign the papers? I ask this as we have been using them to pay bills. I don`t want to be blamed for fraud.

You should stop using the cards immediately.
As part of the bankruptcy your trustee will be required to review the credit card usage on your accounts for at least the last 3 months and if there are unusual or significant credit card use this can have implications of your discharge.
