Recently Divorced

I am recently divorced and lost the house to the wife and kids. But I still have a personal debt of 50 000. Can I still claim equity on the home to clear my personal debt?

This is a better question to pose to your divorce lawyer. But normally if you lost the house in a divorce you no longer have any equity. If that is the case you wouldn’t have any equity in the house to be able to use to settle your debts.
