revenue canada debt
December 11th, 2008 by Questions
If i file for bankruptcy, will the debt I owe to revenue canada also be cleared up?? I owe approximately 10,000 on my personal taxes and i owe other debts and have no choice but to file bankruptcy. I was wondering if i will still have to pay off revenue canada`s debt as well

Government debts are included and “discharged” (eliminated) by bankruptcy. Things like income taxes, GST arrears, even Source Deductions for people that ran small businesses will be dealt with if you file for bankruptcy.
