What happens
I am single now. My wife left about a year ago. Her name is still on the morage. I am have touble makeing the payments. Just like to know if I file for bandruptcy how this will effect her?

It really depends on whether or not there will be a shortfall when the house is sold. If after selling the house you still owe money to the mortgage company then they will likely pursue your ex for that money, particularly if you have filed for bankruptcy.
If the house call be sold for enough to pay off the mortgage and any other joint debts your ex may have with you then they will not be affected if you file for bankruptcy.
Try talking to a family lawyer first, then if you are still talking to your ex, you should warn them that you may be filing for bankrutpcy so they can seek their own advice.
