Government tax debt

I have received notice from Revenue Quebec to file a tax return fo 2003 through 2007. Tax owing as well as interest and penalties may require me to file for bankruptcy, will the debt owing to Quebec as well as Canada be eliminated in a bankruptcy?

Yes, tax debt is just like any other debt, regardless of whether it is to Revenue Quebec or Revenue Canada.

To do so, these un-filed returns will have to be filed so that the government knows how much they are writing off, but once they are filed and you have completed your duties in the bankruptcy you will can be discharged from that debt just like any other.
