Canadian Residency

Although I`m a citizen, I`m no longer a resident of Canada and haven`t been for over 4 years. Am I still eligible to file for bankruptcy in Canada?

There is no citizenship requirement to file a bankruptcy. As long as you are a resident of Canada you will have no problem. So if you think you need to file a bankruptcy you should simply schedule a meeting with a local trustee so they can explain how the process will effect you.
