Bankruptcy in 2 countries?
While living abroad I incurred credit card and line of credit debt. I am living back in BC now and considering bankruptcy for debts here and overseas. can I claim bankruptcy for debt in another country or if i file in Canada will that include foreign debt?

If you file for bankruptcy in Canada you will be released from your Canadian debts. Although while your in Canada none of your other creditors will have the legal ability to pursue you for debts as they are prevented as a result of the Bankruptcy.
However, this protection from foreign creditors only exists while you are in Canada. The moment you leave the country the protection no longer exists.
In terms of filing for bankruptcy in a different country. Each country has it’s own separate insolvency system, so you would have to contact a professional in that country.
