using credit with 3 months
I know that under the bankruptcy act there is a clause that states my creditors could oppose my bankruptcy if I have used my credit cards within the three months prior to filing for bankruptcy. If that happens would an automatic discharge of the bankruptcy happen more often then not? I`ve never filed bankruptcy before.
Just wondering if this is a large issue for a discharge not to be achieved automatically.

If a creditor oppoes your discharge then you are no longer eleigible for an automatic discharge – instead you will be required to appear in Court so that the circumstances of your bankruptcy may be reviewed. If you used your credit cards in an unusual manner (or after you spoke to a professional about your finances) the Court may order that you repay any purchases made during the three months before you file.
If you used your card “normally” for things like gas, minor purchases, etc you don’t need to worry. If you bought some bug ticket items, tooka trip, cash advances then you might have to repay those purchases.
