Typically your employer is only notified:
a) if you are subject to a garnishee, then your trustee has to contact your employer to have the garnishee stopped;
b) if you do not provide the necessary verification of income and tax information to your trustee.
c) if you owe your employer money.
These typically are the only three scenarios where an employer is notified with the filing of a personal bankruptcy.
