Assets

If someone doesn`t have assets like a house, car etc because they do live at home, is it possible for them to file for bankruptcy?

Certainly, there’s no requirement to own something in order to be eligible to file for bankruptcy. You don’t even need to be working, but most trustees will suggest you wait until yopu find a job simply so that they can give you an accurate estimate of how much it may cost you to file for bankruptcy.
