If I am sued in a civil court and the judge orders me to pay $50,000.oo in damages will I still have to pay my victim if i declare bankruptcy?

In normal circumstances as long as this civil suit is not related to a) intentional body harm, sexual assult or wrongful death, then it is something that is cleared in bankruptcy.

However to be sure I would suggest you contact a local trustee to determine how this lawsuit would be treated.
