Irving

If My wife was primary account holder with Irving and I was also on the account but with no credit information given and she went bankrupt why can they still go after me for the debt?

If your wife applied for a secondary card for you at the time she applied for her card and/or you ever used the card you effectivley became a co-borrower (you’ll find that in the small print of the cardholder agreement).

If you never used the card nor signed the credit app you can try and fight the debt in Court – depending on how much is owing on the card it may be less expensive to simply pay off the debt.
