When is discharge`?

My husband and I applied for bankruptcy on January 11th, 2008. We decided to keep the house and pay the difference. We are paying $300 per month for 20 months to pay off the $6000. My question is, are we discharged after the 9 months (if we keep up with all the other duties), or do we have to wait until the 20 months are up?

From the sounds of it you would not be discharged until the 20 months are up, assuming you make all the required payments. However, you are best to check with your trustee to confirm this.
