I was wondering if you have to be employed to file bankruptcy? I am having financial problems because I have had to recently go on Social Assistance and E.I. so I am having issues with paying my past bills and current bills so…please help me?

There is no need for you to be employed to file a bankruptcy, the only trick will be whether or not you are able to afford the cost to file a bankruptcy. The best thing for you to do is to contact a local trustee and you can work out all the necessary payment details directly.
