What to tell collectors when they call?
May 14th, 2008 by Questions
I will be filing for bankruptcy within the next 2-3 weeks. I currently have some creditors calling me.
Should I even bother answering the phone and explaining that I don`t have a job and funds at the moment ? S
Should I tell them that I will be filing for bankruptcy in 2-3 weeks ? Does it make any difference ?
Thank-you

I find it is always best to answer the phone explain your situation and if you have decided to file a bankruptcy explain this to them.
It is always helpful i you have already contacted a local trustee, and if you have, give then the name and number of the trustee you will be using.
