This is a question you will have to consult with a local trustee on as there are a wide variety of variables that may have an impact (i.e. are you behind on your mortage, how many payments are you behind, how much the value of your house is, what type of action the bank has take or whether the bank has even begun any action etc.)

As you can see a great deal of more information is needed to even predict.
