Since my cell phone is my home phone will I be able to keep it when I apply for a bankrupcy?

As long as you up to date on your cell phone bill and not in arrears you shouldn’t have any issue with retaining that telephone. It is when you have arrears on the bill that things change as those arrears would be a debt that must be listed, and in turn would be cleared in a bankruptcy and as a result the cell phone provider would cancel the contract and your cell phone.
