Credit card WHILE bankrupt

If I am able to get a secured cedit card company to give me a card while bankrupt, am I within my write to do so under the law?

There is no problem with this as long as you disclose to the lender that you are in bankruptcy. Failure to disclose this is considered an offense under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and can result in being ineligible for discharge.
