keep my leased car during bankruptcy

I am having a very hard time making ends meet since my seperation.I am thinking of bankruptcy but i would like to know if it is possable to do but at the same time keep my leased car so i can continue traveling to work?Are there other options other than bankruptcy in Montreal that wouldnt affect my credit so much?Can you please provide me with some information about this.Thankyou.

Typically speaking as long as you are current with your car payments and can afford to continue with them keeping the leased vehicle is not a problem.

As far as other options go you can look into the filing of a consumer proposal. It has a reduced impact on your credit and still allows you to deal with your outstanding debt. The best person to review these things with would be a local trustee, this is particularly important through out Quebec as often the rules and regulations in Quebec are slightly different than in the rest of the country.
