My brother has been in bankruptcy for many years (8 years+.) His trustee will not return phone calls and he really wants to get working on getting out. He never followed through with his obligations but is ready to do what it takes now. How can he move forward if his trustee will not help him. He is doing well financially now and has built up some savings. Can you make any suggestions?

Your brother can try one of two things. He can attempt to contact another trustee and see if they would be willing to act on his behalf. If he is not able to find a trustee who is willing he can always contact a lawyer and have them make the necessary arrangements and court applications (although you are best to contact a lawyer who is familiar with the insolvency process).
