Bankruptcy living in the USA
August 26th, 2007 by Questions
Do I need to file bankruptcy in the USA on my Canandian accounts or do I need to file in Canada? I work and live in the USA and have no intention on returning to Canada to live or work.

If you work and live in the US and do not plan on returning to Canada it is unlikely that your creditors will do much to pursue you across an international border (thie is true with the average situation, however, the larger the amount owing the more likely your creditors will incurr the extra expense to continue with collection efforts).
