refusal To Recognize Bankruptcy
Hi, I filed personal bankruptcy in 2006. One of my creditors has refused to recognize this. I am not sure exactly what this means for me – as if I would have had money I would have paid it. Is there anything that I can do?
Thanks

Firstly, a creditor cannot just refuse to recognize a bankruptcy. There are only a very few types of creditors who are not cleared in a bankruptcy or a proposal.
My first recomendation would be to confirm that this creditor was listed on your original documents. Then I would discuss this with your original trustee.
