Technically speaking the day after you file for a bankruptcy, as long as you disclose the fact that you are in bankruptcy, you would be eligible for a secured credit card.

However the ultimate decision is up to the credit card provider.

Two places you could consider contacting are Capital One and Home Trust.

Home Trust has been providing these services longer but the trade off is that their cards are significantly more expensive than the one offered at Capital One and really the appear to be providing the same service.
