If you keep a joint account with a relative and there is no debt directly affiliated with the bank that the account is with, if you file for bankruptcy, could the relatives credit rating be negatively affected?

No, the only way their credit rating would be affected is if they had signed on debt with you, you filed for bankruptcy and they didn’t make any payments on the debt that is attached to their name.
