Can creditors or Revenue Canada garnish from people who are on disability pension or benefits?

While this is determined largely by provincial law, in most provinces disability benefits or pensions are safe from garnishee at source from all creditors except CRA.
However, if your creditors obtain a garnishee and submit it to your bank they can seize most monies in the bank account regardless of where they came from.
