apealing a decision made in bankruptcy court

Can I appeal a judges decision to not grant a discharge but to continue making payments for another 6 months? I have tried to find an insolvency lawyer in Alberta but cant sem to find one.

If there are reasons you cannot comply with a discharge order after a year you can re-apply to have the courts reconsider the order, but you have to make sure there our grounds (i.e. reasons the court will consider valid) and typically we find this isn’t the case unless something significant has changed in your life since that order was granted.
