pst problems

hi i went personal bankrupt in 2004 on my business and i just found out pst has a 26000.00 lean against my house now i had to go bankrupt with them too is there anything i can do to get that lifted my husband did not go bankrupt and the bank won,t let him consolidate till that lean is gone

It sounds like you need to speak to the trustee that handled your bankruptcy. Assuming your were discharged then the debt associated with this lien might also be discharged – it will depend on how the government registered the lien.

If they registered a charge on title, as opposed to an execution with the sheriff, then the only way to remove the lien will be to repay the debt. If it’s an execution and it was part of your bankruptcy then it will be easy to remove.
