If you have a tax refund owing once you are discharged from bankruptcy and creditors do not make claim to it will you get that refund and how long should it take to get that refund.

Typically during a bankruptcy any refunds for the year of bankruptcy (both pre and post) are assigned over to the trustee and used for the general benefit of creditors. So things are not dependent on the creditors making a claim to them, things are dependent on what was agreed upon with your trustee.
As a result you would be best to either review your original documentation or discuss this directly with your trustee.
