trustee gone, I need a copy of letter

Hello: I have returned to college and have been a discharged bankrupt since 2002. The student loans people want a letter from my trustee to that effect. BUT as far as I can tell, he is out of business. Is my banikruptcy file recorded somewhere with the federal government or elsewhere so that I can get a copy of a letter of discharge?

Contact the nearest Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy. They should be able to provide you with sufficient proof for the student loans people of your discharge from bankruptcy.
