If you are able to complete all of your duties prior to the 9 month mark of a bankruptcy and there are no oppositions to your discharge, then you will qualify for an automatic discharge and there will be no need for a court date of any kind. However, if there is the opposition, or you haven’t completed your duties by that 9 month mark then having to appear in front of the court is likely.
