I have filed a letter to cease and desist telephone calls with one of my creditors – as I am in the process of liquidating assets to pay off debt – but have no cash to pay until then.
Most of the creditors have been extreemly understanding once I’ve sent them documentation to confirm what I am telling them.
However – there is one creditor that won’t acknowledge any of the correspondence that I have sent – including a registered letter to cease and desist telephone calls to me. What’s the next step – how do I get the phone calls stopped until I can get this resolved.
Is there not an organization that I can contact??

Unfortunately, your only recourse may be to a lawyer and/or the Courts. The law requires them to stop – if they don’tyou need to fall back on your rights under the law. Sorry, there is no agency or organization that you can report them to.
