HELP!!!!!-LEGAL MONEY OWED!!!!!
I have gone through a rough 4 years-exhusband charged with unlawfulentering into my home-a year later challenged custody of our son-his parents stepped in and won costing me everything i have made since i left him in 1999. I have legal debt of 46,000 to lawyer, line of credit, credit cards, child support, mortgage, car payment, injured worker(back and forth from wsib to employer)income varies from month to month. i am considering bankruptcy to have some recourse to the legal over load of bills and debt. I would like to keep my house- no real equity, and my truck, i can afford those but not the other 69000 in debt. What should i do?

From the sounds of things bankruptcy could definitely help to solve many of the problems that you have identified, with the exception of child support. If you owe money as a result of child support this would be a debt that survives bankruptcy.
In terms of assets, typically you will find very little impact on a house (with little equity) or a truck, but this can vary by province. As a result it is best to contact a local trustee directly and he will be able to comment on the provincial legislation that governs these types of things, you can do so by clicking on the following link:licensed trustee.
