Affect on Job Offer

i am in the process of being offered a job. they have requested my authorization for a credit check. am i going to be out of luck as I am recently discharged.

This really depends on the employer. Every employer sets their own qualification parameters and it is possible that they require a â€œcleanâ€ credit history. However, it has been my experience that relatively few employers will disqualify a qualified applicant for 1 blemish in the application process.
