Separation and bankruptcy
My common-law spouse and I are separating and as a result, have had to sell our house. Since we both own the house, the equity was split between us. I am now unable to support my family and will be filing for bankruptcy. Will the creditors go after my ex’s half of the equity?
Thanks.

If you are separated and don’t live together you will not have to disclose her income. The key thing is whether or not she lives in the same household, when she is residing elsewhere there is no issue.
