Debt Repayment/Bankruptcy

If I have signed up for a Debt Repayment Plan and am still having difficulties….should I look at Bankruptcy? I am a single mother of 2 (recently divorced) and even though I make good money, I am struggling. I want to get a head.

I am sorry to hear the Debt Repayment Plan is not working out. You have two alternatives to consider: a proposal to creditors (where you repay a portion of your debt over time) or an assignment in bankruptcy.

I suggest you find a trustee near your home and either give them a call or book an appointment to review your situation to determine which solution makes the most sense for you and your family.
