Credit Report and bankruptcy

I checked my credit report recently and found an account that was included in my bankrkuptcy three years ago as deliquent. I contacted transunion and their response that it will remain on my credit report for 6 years from the last requested payment. Is this true? I was under the impression if it is part of my bankruptcy it will not show.

Yes, what the credit bureau has told you is basically true. Most information remains on your credit report for six years from the date of last activity.

However, your credit report also indicates the date that you were discharged from bankruptcy, so if anyone reads your entire credit report they will realize that the debt was also discharged in your bankruptcy.
