Being Bondable in a proposal or bankruptcy
September 20th, 2006 by Questions
I am currently a bonded employee. I am considering my options regarding a consumer proposal or bankruptcy. Will either bankrupcy or a proposal mean that I am no longer bondable and therefore would lose my job?

Probably not. Most bonding agencies don’t care if you are bankrupt. However, don’t take our word for it. Contact your human resources person at work, or the bonding agency directly, to confirm before you go bankrupt or file a consumer proposal that your filing will not impact on your ability to be bonded.
