What should i do if i no longer live in Canada but need to declare bankruptcy to deal with my student loans? Who can i contact for help? Do you have suggestions as to an agency that can help me?

To declare bankruptcy you must contact a licensed trustee. In most cases you will be required to return to Canada to meet with the trustee.

However, if you are living outside of Canada, a bankruptcy may not be necessary, since it is probably very difficult for your creditors to garnishee your wages until you return to Canada.
