Can I stop my bankruptcy and make a proposal?

I am in currently in bankruptcy (2 months). I was just offered a job as a branch manager for a travel agency. Will my bankruptcy effect this job offer? I was also thinking that I would be able to make payments if I was to try a consumer proposal with this new job. Can I stop my bankruptcy and offer a proposal so that I can keep this job offer and also make payments for a proposal?

In most cases bankruptcy does not impact on your job, unless you are licensed or bonded; to find out, contact whomever licenses your industry, or discuss it with your future employer. With regards to your second question, yes, it is possible to file a consumer proposal while you are bankrupt. If the proposal is accepted by your creditors, your bankruptcy ends. Your trustee can explain this in more detail, or you can contact another bankruptcy trustee for more information.
