Undischarged Bankruptcy extended

I am eligible for discharge on my bankruptcy at the end of May, however i found out today from my trustee that due to my surplus income I will be required to continue surplus payments for an additional 6 months. Is there any way i can speed up my discharge? I have done everything required promptly and have always maintained good contact with my trustee. If i pay my trustee an amount equal to the sum of the 6 payments will i be discharged earlier?

Most trustee’s have no problem with this. While I can’t speak specifically for your trustee I suggest you simply call him to confirm he would be willing to request the discharge upon receipt of the outstanding balance.
