Hello,
Why is my credit rating at R9 when I filed a consumer proposal? Should I contact the credit bureau?

The first question that comes to mind is whether or not you sent a copy of your Certificate of Completion to the credit bureau. If not they may have no idea the proposal is finalized and that the debts have been dealt with. If you have sent this information then the credit bureau potentially could have made a mistake recording this information. If you reference Equifax’s website there are instructions as to how to proceed with correcting any inaccurate reporting.
