If I make an appointment with a trustee ,what should I take to the meeting ? I plan to do whatever the trustee thinks is the best route for me . Are trustees able to determine this in the initial consultation ?

It is always helpful if you bring a list with 4 things:
1. A breakdown of your debts;
2. A list of your assets;
3. An idea of what you make on a monthly basis; and
4. An estimate of what you spend in a typical month.
This information will allow the trustee to more effectively help determine which of the available options suits your situtiaon best.
