Getting a secured credit card

I’m currently paying off a proposal, is there any problem with me trying to get a secured credit card in the near future?

I’m not familiar with them would I have to save up a lump sum of money first? Thank you.

A licensed trustee said...

It is difficult, but not impossible, to get a secured credit card while you are in a proposal. You could try Home Trust Visa for a secured credit card. Otherwise, you are probably best to focus on paying off the proposal and then applying for a credit card.
