professional liability claim and bankruptcy
I have excellent credits and always pay my bills on time. I presently have a professional liabiltiy claim against me. Unfortunately I did not take out liability insurance. What will happen to me when I declare bankruptcy when not able to pay my liability which may be in the millions of dollars?
Generally professional liability claims are discharged in a bankruptcy, but you will need to review this with your bankruptcy trustee to be sure.
